Nice to meet you

My name is Camilla Gironi, I am a 2nd-year student at the MSc in Product and Service Design at Sapienza University of Rome.

During my undergraduate studies in Building Project Management, I have been a CEO, author and editor at LAB2.0 - Architecture, Art and Design, an independent magazine. In the same period, I was the Communications Coordinator of Team Sapienza SDME, the official Sapienza University team competing at the Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018 with the project ReStart4Smart, a smart solar-powered house that ranked 5th out of over 15 university teams coming from different countries all over the world.

Once graduated, I worked as an intern Graphic Designer and Public Relations Assistant at ITA - Italian Trade Agency, a governmental body supporting Italian companies in the export of Made in Italy goods and know-how everywhere around the globe.

I recognize myself as a multipotentialite (here's a brilliant TEDTalk by Emilie Wapnick explaining why it is okay not knowing what to do when you grow up). Design is what is allowing me to blend my extremely vast interests together.

I am first an observer and a listener, rather than a speaker. I love investigating others' attitudes and behaviors, listening to their ambitions, fears and experiences. I have a burning curiosity for the world around me and learning new things everyday is my way of understanding more about myself.

If you want to get to know more about me or my work, or if you just feel I could be a good knot in your network, please feel free to contact me! Can't wait to connect with you.

Thank you for stopping by!
